Meet Bonnie
I have been a teacher for nine years, three of them in EUSD. I taught before, during, and after the pandemic, and I understand the challenges we are all still working through. I'm a dedicated public servant, and I care deeply about ensuring Escondido students are prepared for success in our modern world.
I have a Master's degree in Education from UCSD. I can read legalese, and I am excited to learn about complex issues and make thoughtful judgements. I believe an important part of this job is listening to the needs and concerns of Escondido families before making decisions for our district.

He sido maestra durante nueve años, tres de ellos en EUSD en la Escuela Secundaria Hidden Valley. Enseñé antes, durante, y después de la pandemia, y comprendo los desafíos que aún enfrentamos. Soy una servidora pública comprometida y me importa profundamente garantizar que los estudiantes de Escondido estén preparados para el éxito en el mundo actual.
Tengo una maestría en Educación de la Universidad de California en San Diego (UCSD). Puedo interpretar el lenguaje legal y me entusiasma aprender sobre temas complejos para tomar decisiones bien fundamentadas. Creo que una parte importante de este trabajo es escuchar las necesidades e inquietudes de las familias de Escondido antes de tomar decisiones para nuestro distrito.
